We were at the Living Green Expo - May 3 and 4 The Community Farm and Food Festival at the Living Green Festival - was fantastic. MFA Welcomes new staff member Rekha Banerjee is our Marketing and Distribution Manager. She is coordinating the sale of wholesale and CSA produce grown by our cooperating farmers. She is also coordinating our organic certification, which will be new this year. Rekha comes to MFA with over 10 years experience in organic farm managment and sales and distributions for non-profit farm programs. We are excited to have her work with us.
MFA on MPR—Myanmar Crisis Hits Home in St. Paul On September 28, 2007, in a piece reported by Dan Olson that aired on Minnesota Public Radio, MFA's Executive Director Glen Hill commented on events in Myanmar based on his experience working in the country.

MFA in Pioneer Press In the September 2nd issue of the Pioneer Press, MFA was highlighted in an article entitled "Fresh on the Farm" by Bob Shaw. Detailing urban Minnesotans increasing involvement in agriculture, the article talked about the New Immigrant Agriculture Project and Big River Foods.
